1. Shopping/ordering at Trendy Portrait
Step 1: Choose a product - Go to the Order page and select:
Posters - fine paper rolled in a tube / canvas rolled in a tube / canvas Stretched on wooden frame.
Computer use - desktop display / screen saver / cellular screen Display / messenger/ICQ/Google talk / E-mail signature / E-card
Other print products - postcards: Christmas, New Year, Easter... / Invitations: wedding, birthday, baby shower, bar-bat-mitzvah, Party, anniversary... / business cards
Step 2: Upload your photo - Browse your favorite photo from your computer and then press upload.
Step 3: Select product properties
Style - vector, Retro, Warhol, B&W
Size & Format - a variety of sizes, landscape/horizontal.
Material - Paper rolled canvas rolled/Stretched.
Step 4: Checkout
Pay on-line with your debit, credit card or E-check.
In the order process, you will be asked to fill a billing address as well as shipping address.
In the billing address box type your details and in the shipping address box type the details of that special someone that will receive the order.
Yes you can, please notice that in the order process – step 2, there is a comment/request box in which you can specify your desired color & background.
Incase you have seen a color or/and background on TrendyPortrait.com that you like, please write the name of the image – you can see it once you enlarge it.
After placing an order, our designers will begin their art work on your portrait. This will take between 4-7 business days. Once the art work in done, you will receive an email with the portrait for approval.
When approved, the art work will be sent for printing.(Unless you ordered a non printed product, in that case the procedure is done.) The printing process will take up to 14 business days (It usually takes 7 days).
Yes, once you receive the approval email of the portrait design, and you are not satisfied with the result, please reply to us with your comments and our designers will make sure that you will receive the perfect result for no extra charge.
1.9 Care Instructions
As with all artwork and photographs, care has to be taken when handling your print. Do not get your canvas wet. Although our inks have been rated to last over 120 years we recommend that you avoid displaying it in direct sunlight to prevent premature fading of the inks.
Choosing the right image for your portrait is the most important step of the process.
We recommend that the photo will be a close up of the person/pet/image.
The accuracy of the illustration depends on the quality of the photo. (The higher the resolution/size, the better)
When shooting a photo, be sure that the lighting in not too dark or too bright.
If you prefer, you can email us more than one photo and we will let you know which one works best for your portrait.
2.2 Photo format

If you have a format that is not listed above please contact us and we'll advice.
If you have a printed photo that you like to use for the portrait,
Please scan it at 300 dpi minimum and save as a JPEG / PNG format.
Please notice - we usually prefer receiving photos taken with a digital camera, rather than photo from mobile phone.
Yes, we can crop the photo and work only on the person, pet or object you desire to have on the portrait. Just make sure that there is no object in front of subject.
Yes, it's ok.We will make them proportional to each other.
Yes, you can email us, specifying the print format, material and shipping address, and we will send you a price quote.
